Book about The Great War
G.J. Meyer's "A World Undone: The Story of the Great War, 1914 to 1918" offers a detailed look at the First War World, from the events leading up to the war until its end four years later. I have not had a chance to dive into this book yet but it is recommended for both casual readers who are new to this subject and to history buffs alike. At over 800 pages, this will require some commitment but the purportedly engaging writing style will hopefully keep me engrossed.
